Salaam - Mnandi hybrid word that represents the amalgamation of our diversity in Cape. Salaam is an Arabic salutation that means peace and Kumnandi is a word used in isiXhosa, Zulu and Swahili word meaning enjoyable, delicious. Does this hybrid word not describe the art of getting different and diverse friends together for the love of food and rich culture? Salaam Mnandi insists on the important relationship between friends, food, drink and multi culturalism.
